this is too easy for us as saints havent showed up and first tine ive seen them lacking in confidence....good timing for us! especially with the players we have out but im sure saints will come out fighting as if not then could be our easiest win of the season.

Very, very comfortable first half. We need our first real 90 minute performance of the season to see this out, though. No taking the foot off the pedal and letting them back into it.
Hudd seems to be miles better today than on Thursday. We're looking good, just need to keep the pressure up in the second, we can't afford to step it off or we WILL Spurs this up
to be fair i wouldnt base too much on that half as saints havent showed up and havent had a single shot on goal. its just a walkabout so far for our midfield and defence as they havent been put under any pressure.
There's been no pressure on him and he's slowly getting back up to speed. He still looks too heavy and slow, but he's less shaky and a bit more confident. I think he might have spent too much time bulking up in the gym or something, as he looks really, really big and heavy.
Defoe is just being typical Defoe for me. Playing selfish, brain dead football. Always offside when he shouldn't be and when he sees goal, he just swings at the ball as hard as possible. Zero finesse! If he scores great, if he squanders chances... it's situation normal. At his age, he'll never change his ways. You either love him or loathe him but right now, he seems to be our best option up front.
