Ipswich have a long history of playing good football- we dont - hence they are more appreciative of a footballer than we are. I think the thread on Koren a day or two ago proves this where many would be happy to see the back of an excellent footballer as he "doesnt run about enough". Sounds like ***an is what some want then.
If it wasn't so perverse it would be funny, he is without doubt the most talented footballer we have ever had on our books! I agree with Dean and although it pains me to say so, TWF. Our midfield has been our achilies heal for the last three years (probably more) Bullard would without a doubt improve our results and yet because of his salary we cannot play him!! All the other hear say about his off field antics is merely re-circulated to try and justify getting rid. If we seriously want promotion and if we had the money he would be our play maker next season. Getting rid probably doesn't mean we havent got the cash or ambition, but I'd love to have a player in our team with flair, ability and whim the opposition fear. We have NO ONE of that ilk at the moment. UTT

Says a lot about the rest of the team if a player who only joined them in January wins the Player of the Year award. He's only been there 3 months. Think it's just a popularity thing.
Nice to see him doing so well there, wish things had been different but good luck to him if they do sort out making him a permanent signing.
