What you witnessed at the weekend was not the same club as you witnessed last season. I find it laughable that an 'educated' man would think it is.

Well why don't the Jews believe Jesus was the Messiah? Those patient bastards are still waiting.
These scriptures stated that Jesus would be born into the house of David of virgin birth. Joseph was House of David, Mary was not. Either virgin birth or house of david, not both.
They also stated the Messiah would be a warrior who would rise up to free the Jews from tyranny. Didn't do a good job there now did he?
Other tales of fantasy in the good book start with Adam and Eve, Eve of course was Adam's rib. There is plenty of evidence for the historical figure of Jesus. You are entitled to your opinion as to who or what he was. I am not trying to convince you of anything. However when you say that you think that what someone believes is laughable you should at least be consistent and recognise that some of the completely unsupportable beliefs that you hold will be met with equal derision.
