To be fair we were fookin awful for the Burton game, probably the worst performance I've seen for 20 years.

I even emailed the club enquiring whether they'd refund the fans who attended after watching that ****e - am still awaiting an answer!

Emotions run high after games but lets not forget we won 5 games in a row under Sven and are still in the same league so the people 'crowing' about Nigel should really save it for if/when we get promotion or threads get dragged back up and you get reminded of stuff you posted emotionally not rationally!

Precisely. It's not wise to overreact - whether it's positively or negatively!

OK Mick - You've made it clear you want to go for me - I want to go for you - Lets set it up for this Saturday

Made it clear I want to go for you ? Wtf you on about ya daft sod ?
Mate I gave all that **** up many years ago , as I finally learn't that to try & resolve different opinions with my fists is actually a sign of weakness !
To be honest Danger , I actually agree with the vast majority of what you write ,which was why I was so surprised when you started this thread but no matter what , it was (still is ?) your opinion so you are entitled to express it ! Is all I've been doing is basically remind you of what you wrote a month or so ago & wind you up a bit...Clearly a bit too much , so for that I apologise matey ! And who knows ( being LCFC) it could equally come back to bite me on the arse should we lose a load on the bounce ?
No, I'm not at the game on Saturday as I have my neice's wedding to attend but if I was , I'd try & sound you out for a pie & a pint fella ?

All the best & enjoy the game mate !

P.S, If I did come for fisty cuffs @ high noon , would you be wearing a " I love Arry " t shirt so I knew how to recognise you ? ......... only joking , Up the Foxes !

We'll leave it there then

Nice to see common sense prevail - there was nothing wrong with Danger's original post - in that it merely expressed how he felt and demonstrated how much his team meant to him - none of us is immune to such outbursts ... I was advocating dropping Nugent and he answered my criticism in the HUll game (actually see above - he single handedly fulfilled my prediction to Kempton!)

But this forum would be very boring if we didn't give vent to our feelings - face it - that is exactly what the forum is for - and sometimes emotions run high.

We are all in danger (no pun intended) of having to eat our words - some of us (Charlie) make a career of it!

Anyway as I said - its nice to see common sense prevail .. which it generally does once we have cooled down and have time to reflect a little ..

Nice one boys.

w3hats your view no danger?

I said somewhere in this thread (can't be arsed to look for it, if you want to feel free) along the lines of that the time to act was immediately after the game and that if action wasn't taken then then you can't do it later - Clearly, as you are aware action wasn't taken then.

Nothing has changed in any of what I posted and I stand by it - The Burton Albion debacle was outrageous and unacceptable and action should have been taken at that time for the reasons I have posted on this thread.

Is Pearson doing a great job in the league? You're damn right he is would I sack him now? Not a chance- Hope that clears that up

.. the danger of posting having spent most of 'Super Sunday' in the pub is that sometimes our typing suffers....

I knew what he meant <laugh>

And on reflection I owe Mick an apology which I'd like to make now - After giving Micks content some thought I, as you & I both state have the right to an opinion, that said when I post my opinion, others have the right to question it

Well done Danger .. fine post and wholly agree with your view.

Mate ,you don't owe me an apology at all....on reflection & hindsight springs to mind ,the latter being a wonderful thing !
I'd prefer to think that we are two blokes that are so damn passionate about our club , end of and is why the saying " It's a funny old game " seems appropriate here.....though it's not always funny ! Cheers , Mick .
