It looks like Tom Ince and old boy Gary Taylor-Fletcher will be absent tomorrow... http://www.blackpoolgazette.co.uk/s...-fc/key-duo-doubtful-for-hull-clash-1-4979934
off topic slightly but on saturday morning simpson was 66/1 to be championship top scorer and mclean was 50/1..they know something we dont, mclean is ready to rip it up..get your cash on him for the hat trick..
I noticed that the other day, there's some ridiculous selections at shorter odds than any of ours, and fryatt was still our shortest odds even when it looked like he'd be having an operation and be out most the season. Some odds are whacky though, on Saturday te bookies thought a 2-0 home win was the most likely result yet they thought both teams would score and a -2 handicap was the same odds as a straight home win with a -1 handicap offering better odds! **** knows how they figure that out.
Chester's definitely out, he won't be fit for the Wendies game either. Oli is also a doubt. I hope we go to four at the back now, we're conceding enough goals as it is, McShane coming in would fill me with dread.
would you trust a faye/bruce partnership anymore tho? i always thought a benefit of the 3 was that fayes lack of pace had plenty of cover either side, while bruce has done quite well i think however we play without chester we look weak at the back- on paper anyhow, hope to be proved wrong
Chester missing out is a big blow. I don't really want us to change the system but I definitely don't want to see McShane play either.
Can Rosie play in the centre? I know Dawson played there on the left side at one point, but didn't play that good by all accounts.
So we have 4 fit centrebacks (assuming Cooper will step into the squad so long as we don't change system) and you want to put a full back there?
According to Messrs Burns and Buckingham, following today's press conference, it will be either Rosie or McShane who come in tomorrow.
If Rosenior plays at CB ahead of McShane and Cooper then one of them should shoot Steve Bruce and use the other as their alibi.
Good news if Ince is out, the lad should be in the Premiership, could tear Little Bruce a new arsehole if he plays
If it's Rosie, then that suggests us going to a back 4 with Elmohamady playing as a winger and presumably Quinn moving left to make it a 4-4-2? Just seen you're saying it's a 3-5-2 regardless. Interesting...
McShane will almost certainly be taking over. In the games I've seen him in, he doesn't look as bad as he did in the PL. If it's cover for Chester, he's more than capable, as is Cooper.
