Evening all,

A few fancies for me tomorrow;

15.20 Perth- Carlito Brigante- 11/8

The definate class horse in the race,has not shown the same sort of form as of late when winning the 2011 Coral Cup. He has questions about him after an abysmal performance at Kilbeggan. Is off a lower mark than last time, wont have any problem with the ground and fully expect him to get back to winning ways tomorrow, his trainer does not usually send many over the irish channel without them having a great chance of winning


15.10 Newmarket- Gallipot- 13/2

She has gone from strength to strength this year this was proved when she ran a cracker in the Park Hill Stakes at Doncaster 2 weeks ago; She seems to progress with every run.This is a step down in class from the race two weeks ago, but she is not the only one to step down. But as i said she is arguably the most progressive in the field and with still alot improvement left she will have no problem of disposing this field.

Have to agree here - horse I've always really liked, comfortably the strongest in the field, and I hope he romps home.

I couldn't find a price on him with any of the bookies I have an account with yet, but 11/8 seems positively generous on what for me must be an evens shot.

He is trading 2.32 (11/8)on Betfair <ok>
 
The Tracey Shuffle will give that one a good race with the 7lbs weight allowance imo lads <ok> decent Novice's chase.

CAVALRYMAN 4.15 Newmarket 9/4 (BET VICTOR)

Have been very impressed with Cavalryman this season and he is the class act in this field. Traveled supremely well on his latest outing when 4th behind Times Up in the Lonsdale Cup before fading late on. I would expect a reverse of form with stablemate Lost In The Moment despite being 3lbs worse off at the weights.
 
One I like tomorrow at Newmarket (3:40)

CANARY ROW 16/1. Confirmed mud lark, will love the give in the ground, I don't believe for a second the ground is 'good' as described. Only found the unbeaten Dawn Approach too good on two of his four runs, DA won with plenty in hand off a mark of 115 lto. Young William to steer him home.
 
Looks like he eventually got banned, poor guy :emoticon-0106-cryin though not a member so can't read any of the posts i'm guessing they are very similar to what we are seeing

Smashing, and I do mean smashing opening maiden at Newmarket tomorrow.

Telescope has his 2nd at Ascot franked by Zamoyski at Goodwood this afternoon and Telescope always looked like he would improve for that experience, running on well late once getting the hang of things.

However, there is some interesting opposition, with Spaceship showing marked improvement on 2nd start when 3rd at Doncaster and he will continue to improve. Elkaayed was 4th that day but truthfully looked one paced, although certainly has a future.

Glorious Prospector still holds a Racing Post Trophy entry (as do Telescope and Elkaayed) so will be interesting to see how this horse shows on debut.

The most interesting of the newcomers for me is actually neither of the Godolphin runners, and in fact Sir Henry Cecil might be saddling a talented type in Autun. By the excellent American Grade 1 winner Empire Maker, out of an unbeaten Group 3 winning dam of John Gosden's called SENSE OF JOY, who only raced twice, readily winning a Goodwood Group 3 in 2007 and was fancied for the 1000 Guineas, but sadly never raced again, due to a suspensory ligament problem.

Both Empire Maker and Sense Of Joy were smart juveniles and it will be interesting to see if Autun goes well on debut. One I'd like to keep tabs on for sure. Some of these American/Euro breeds will be interesting because obviously the speed and stamina mix could produce some good juveniles over here with their early speed, though I would still be siding with classic European bred horses for the classics like the Derby and Leger, at this stage anyway.

Good race to watch and I think Telescope will be difficult to beat, though I'd be interested at a big price on Sir Henry Cecil's newcomer.

TOSHI 9-2 4.30 Perth must surely be off a winning mark here. Especially with the useful Lucy Alexander taking off a handy 3lb. It doesnt look that competitive to me and King Brex at a decent price could give it most to do!

That race is pretty hot for a 5 grand pot at the end of September. With the exception of Snooze N You Lose and Legbeforewicket you could make a case for any of the runners. The one that catches my eye is Aneyeforaneye (sorry about the pun). Touched off subsequent winner Geneva Geyser on chase debut before just going down to Alpine Breeze, who has also gone on to win again, and he gets a handy 7lbs from the top 2. Malcolm Jefferson has already had 8 winners this season with a 21% strike rate and a level stakes profit of 28.25. At 8/1 he looks a stonking good e/w bet to me <ok>
 
PERTH 3.20 THE TRACEY SHUFFLE 7/2 E/W

The yard like THE TRACEY SHUFFLE up at Perth today, jumps very well over fences at home and looks to have only CB to beat today. Yard are on e/w as she wont be out of the first 3.

Morning, all. Interesting card at HQ with the highlight, for me, coming in the &#8216;card commencer&#8217;. Sir Michael&#8217;s Telescope (a headline writers dream that moniker) hinted at massive potential on debut and today is the day of reckoning re his future with that pipe-opener under his belt. Dare I say we could be looking at Classic quotes for Telescope at a quarter past the hour of 2 this afternoon!

The remaining races at Newmarket look a potential punters graveyard and oh to be a bookie chappie on those heats. The change of going, the fact that many beasts will be &#8216;over the top&#8217; or simply had enough by this stage of the term hints that there will be several, and I do mean several, shocks. But good luck if you do trade in them.
