Can I just applaud the tipping of Eagles Peak yesterday! But more interesting was the banter between Rainbow, Topclass, MC Wildcats and Roto it was liking watching a school reunion wondering if the hot girl would come and how would she look! Well Eagles Peak was yesterdays hot girl and she looked fantastic. Your enthusiasm for the horses return was immense and I kind of got the feeling you would all have accepted a defeat as long as the horse looked like returning to its best! Was a pleasure to read and whilst we all like a winner yesterdays result seemed secondary! <applause>

Bit off track but do you think an irony punctuation mark would be a good idea or would indicating irony and sarcasm defeat the whole point?

Buick has a good book of rides at Newmarket today.
Particularly like the look of HOARDING who was just beaten last time out at Doncaster.

Mickael Barzelonas horses look interesting as well in the opening 2 races.

Scrap that! With the NR and RV's news that Newmarket is actually good coupled with no rain this morning I might jump ship to the Al Maktoum runner EBN ARAB 9/2. Not sure who the odds on favourite, Havana Gold, has really beaten of note to be odds on, he may be a top horse but I am willing to take him on and will admit I am wrong if/when he romps home. Looking at EA's last run in behind Dundonnell, Steeler and ADS, he wasn't disgraced behind 3 very good horses and he should come on for that his second run. And yes I know I vowed never to bet on an Al Maktoum horse again but enough time, 2 days, has passed for me to forget all about that!

Jeff: Don't let it bother you (I'm quite sure it doesn't), but we must now assume that SBC's tips are ironic? At least there's no irony in my losers, just bluddy bad hosses on the day............<laugh>

Todays Lay King selection has gone up. Again, very marginal call but the price factored in swings it marginally in favour of laying today.
