We have been in great form recently but only taken a point from our two away games, this week two tough away games but were good enough to get something from them. At Leeds tomorrow i would take a point, a win would be fantastic, the same goes for Sunday, both hard matches but lets be honest whoever you play in this league its hard to guess the outcome because anyone can beat anyone thats what makes it such an interesting division to be in.

Agreed John. I also think that City will have more than one eye on sundays game. Like the Millwall game, get it won and ease up.
Am I being unfair in thinking that this weakens our team ?
Although to be fair, if Evans plays a bit deeper than usual, he may be more effective.
Conversely, I'd like to see Evans be a little more forward thinking and less side to side.
Seems his hamstring means he won't play TWS. McKenna out still obviously due to his red card, means possibly Evans? Anyone else capable of bossing TWS like Oil would have?
Might be a bit harsh on him here but personally Ive never seen Evans have a good game. We'd really benefit from a setlled XI at the moment and it's a shame for Oli, hope it's a short term absence only.

Maybe Evans will be OK coming on at the start.

As for Evans, I really rate him, he can hold his own on the ball and has a good range of passes. He was described as a Box to Box midfielder when he was at United and he rarely makes a mistake, so I'm happy for him to be in the side. If Oli keeps up his form, he might be recalled to the Nigeria squad for the ACON in January, so it makes sense to see if we need cover for him now, or if Evans (and McKenna for that matter) can step up and fill in for him tonight.

The issue I have with Evans is that his work on the ball just isn't good enough. He can't trap, pass or shoot anywhere near the standard we need from someone in that position. If, as some say, McLean is a 'league 1 player' then so is Evans.
