    Limited resources is fine.......Daimao for 3 Million for a year and Dempsey buy for 7 million.......Dump Cole in the nearest skip to free up some wages and we are laughing

    Why was it one time money? Most of it was from sales....the owners got the club on the cheap...tv revenues have increased as has our kit deal money and what about all these new sponsorship deals etc? We've funded what we've brought in so far by selling and reducing wages dramatically and yet we seem to be having to empty the copper jar and check down the side of the sofa to even get Dempsey in.

    Hardly long term planning though is it. Let's make do and mend for this year and just deal with the issues next year. I know BR likes his Spanish influences but this has a slight whiff of "mañana" about it don't you think.

    I will personally be fuming if we bring no one in and go into the season with only two recognised strikers, one of which is also our first choice winger (Borini).
