Assuming that we have no other joiners, if so they'll probably only pack the bench. Would prefer 4-4-2 but have sneaky feeling that Bruce will persevere with 3-5-2. Would therefore like: Amos Rosie, Chester, Faye, Dudgeon. Elmo, Evans, Koren/Aluko, Stewart. (Think Koren will be out injured). Simpson. Proschwitz. Think it will be: Amos Chester. Faye. Bruce. Elmo. Evans. Aluko. Oli. Stewart. Simpson. Proschwitz. Pure speculation but most of these thread are.
Personally I'd go with your first team. Aluko instead of Stewart if Koren is fit. I think that team looks great and I'm hoping this ****e 3-5-2 is only for away games (or even better just not used ever again).
Amos Rosenoir Chester Hobbs Dudgeon Elmo Oli Koren Aluko McLean Simpson Score Prediction Hull City 1-2 Bolton Elmo--------Sordell -------------Andrews
I understand we're playing three at the back again and Rosie is being dropped from Elmo. Bag of ****e.
Info for the people going tomorrow. http://www.hullcityafc.net//news/article/bolton-h-arrive-early-344036.aspx?pageView=full
I like Steve Bruce, he seems a nice guy and a good manager, but he has to stop playing 3 centre backs, I know we have alot of defenders now but you don't have to play and please them all, that's just football, Alex Bruce doesn't need to play, Team should be Amos Rosy Chester Faye Dudgeon Elmo Oli Koren Aluko McLean Simpson Subs: Jakopovic, Liam Cooper, Andy Dawson, Cory Evans, Cameron Stewart, Prossy, Alex Bruce
I think he'll play 7-2-1 (5 CBs and 2 fullbacks just in case) with Alex Bruce in a free-role i.e. in defence, midfield and up top on his own. Simpson will come on in the 89th minute when were 3-0 down. Amos Elohmandy McShane Chester Bruce Faye Cooper Dawson Dudgeon Olofinjana Bruce Bruce ----------------- FT 0-4 (Davies hat-trick, Bruce o.g.)
No chance. Bruce wont be that stupid ffs. 4-4-2 at home and 3-5-2 away is my guess. Bolton play an open game and alot also depends on Korens fitness. I dont think he will be risked especially when he gets 2 weeks off after tomorrow anyway. At least Bruce now has good options for both systems at last. I dont think Stewart will get a start. But assuming that Koren is fit to play then i would think our strongest starting XI would be : - Amos Rosenoir Chester Faye Dudgeon Elmo Evans Koren Aluko Simpson McLean (as both have 2 goals each) strong bench:- Oxley - (2 from Dawson, Cooper, McShane) - Bruce jnr - Stewart - Quinn - Proschwitz. Adds to the quality of the bench now.
Bruce is planning 3-5-2 tomorrow and Stewart might not even be a City player, never mind be starting.
I saw Rick Skelton post a tweet about that. So is it Leicester then? Is it on the basis of the bloke who tweets as East Stand Tiger saying he never saw him at the training ground this morning?
how many assists & goals compared to starts has Stewart managed for us? last time he played well was under Barmby when he came back from injury..
I see the optimism has returned then. We seem to do well at home against Bolton- on the last two occassions we've battered them, but unfotunately only recorded the one victory, mainly because of Jaaskelainen. I'll go for 1-0 City.
Really hope you're wrong. I'm liking some things about Bruce's management but his replacing perfectly good players with his favourites is a bit annoying. He's been playing well this season and particularly against Rotherham, was involved in every decent attack we had including the goal. My team would be: Amos Rosenior Chester Faye Dudgeon Elmohamady Evans Koren Aluko Proschwitz Simpson Assuming Quinn isn't ready to play and we don't sign anyone else in time that is.
i havent seen much of elmo, so cant comment much but a wing back requires equal amounts of attacking ability as defensive and rosenior has next to none so i wouldnt be that bothered if this happened personally, he gets in 4 or 5 decent positions a game, but then puts or 4 or 5 ****e crosses in.
