I like this new way of thinking - we saw how dependent we were on Torres and we really struggled without him. I would rather have 3 players who can score 10 goals each than 1 player who scores 30.

 

look, spearing says he's going to bolton, carroll is gone and adam is in stoke... the henderson stuff doens't make much sense if you look at the sell job we got laid on before last nights match. I don't see anyone else going out right now.... they all seem to be moving bright and early to get things sorted.

I disagree, having a 20-30 goal a season man puts fear into the opposition. Would love that reliability again, to just know the said person will score.

A 20-30 goals a season man gets you those all important goals when you are struggling. It also breeds confidence into the rest of the team and suddenly the midfielders that weren't scoring can now find the net fairly regularly too.

According to Sami Mokbel of the Daily Mail Liverpool are weighing up a move for Brazilian striker Leandro Damiao. He claims the Reds have been offered the option of season long loan at cost of £3m. With an option to then sign him for £13m next summer

For £13m next summer?? Its worth it for that alone, thought he was £20m-£30m man.

He wouldn't suit us (by which, I mean the way Rodgers wants us to play)

 

I can't see Llorente going any where, They just sold Martinez for 40m and I doubt they'll be looking to offload another star.

 

I think he would, he can do a bit of everything. Not exactly young though.

 

Llorente is amazing on the deck for his height, a brilliant all round striker. he's not pacey though so the high pressing game probably wouldn't suit him, with that said though Bilbao play a similar high pressing style too.

I meant in terms of flexibility. Could you see him popping up on the left, right or dropping back to help out defensively...? Can you see him interchanging with Suarez, Borini, Gerrard, Sterling, etc

 

He'd force us to play Suarez on the left or right, which is a good thing.
