.People have been pissing about with that rumour on Twitter for a couple of days.Even if there was any truth in it, i for one would not want him back. The way he treated Arsenal last year was beyond contempt
I wouldn't mind Dzeko or Berba to reinforce our striking options. Even Defoe would be useful. We need a reinforcement for Giroud/Pod that isn't Chamakh. Most clubs keep 4 top class strikers, we have 1 striker and a winger-striker (Pod).
This is just frustrating now, no signings at all, why we must leave it until the last hours, rather than just get it over with?
esteban granero going to qpr. lots of big names going there. will be interesting to see what they can do this season. will have to reinvest soon again though, because most of these new players are older and not for the future.
This is what frustrates me... if we can't hold onto players then fair enough. What annoys me is the last minute buying/lack of buying. Arsenal didn't learn from last season. I'm not expecting to have world class players running to Arsenal but at least get some transfers in before the season starts. As we've seen, it will take a while for these current players to gel but by the time they do, we'll probably be way off the pace from the title. So annoying.
They are getting these players because QPR are being bankrolled by a bloke who owns an airline and who's offering players one last payday
QPR are buying players for the sake of buying them. It's such a **** approach and it's no surprise that Hughes is the guy managing this club.
