Zenit sign Hulk for £40 Mil.

Wow, I didn't see that coming. I'm sure he's gone to Russia for the warm weather, cosmopolitan attitude and not for the money.

Yep. So that's PSG,Man City,Anzi,Chelsea and now Zenit. Clubs with some serious spending power. Then throw in the traditional European giants, and we have no ****ing chance in the CL. 2006 was our massive chance.

 

On the plus side, Zenit want Arshavin, and judging by how much they're paying for players, we could get a decent fee for him.

 

Yep, but we can't reinvest until January, so I would rather have Arshavin in the squad. I think he should be played through the middle and even if he is on the left, I can see him and Cazorla linking up well.

 

I doubt we can ask for a decent fee. With buying two more great players they are basically showing us that they are not too dependent on getting Arshavin for relatively silly money. So I see him going for a cut-price, something along <£6m for now or <£3m in Jan. Or for nothing next summer.

 

Can we use this one again please because am pissed off with the summer one!
