Signing Llorente would not have made any sense. Yes he is a great player and yes, you can see how vital he was to Athletic Bilbao as they have been struggling to win without him since (Javi Martinez of course has played a part in that too) but he's 27 and we have Giroud in place, who is much younger and has much more potential. Look at what having two world class strikers does to a team a team (Chelsea, Man City and now apparently Man Utd)... it's not a dilemna we need BUT I hope we do get a back up striker that would be happy to deputise for Giroud... but finding a striker of such decent calibre and patience is hard to find, unless of course you're one of the top teams in the world and as much as it pains me to say it, we are no longer the team that a lot of world class players would be happy to sit on the bench for like Barca, Real, Bayern etc.
Nope. He's been playing in the centre of a 3 man midfield. You could even classify it as a CM in a 442.
Thats the most bullshit headline ever. Even the article says that Wenger is only convinced, Theo hasn't actually agreed to sign anything.
If we somehow do get Walcott, it looks like Adam won't be in the deal as I suggested (which is ofc lucky for you) as the BBC are reporting Stoke have made a £5m bid for him. They're made for each other tbh because they both play **** football Edit - Sorry, way off topic
I read on your board that on twitter someone had named us as a club after Adam. We're not that desperate.
Bloody hell, Adam at Stoke. Glad, we have already got one of our games with them this season out of the way.
Uhh, why the **** is the name 'Adam' being mentioned in transfer talk between Arsenal and Liverpool. Seriously?
38 hours to go! SPEND SOME ****ING MONEY! SPEND SOME ****ING MONEY! SPEND SOME ****ING MONEY! SPEND SOME ****ING MONEY! SPEND SOME ****ING MONEY!
