As you have all probably noticed QPR has become the latest club to hate because we are now able to spend some "wonga" for the want of a better word.all of us have been to the bottom of the bucket with our beloved club and deserve our time I am raising the middle finger on both hands and pointing it in the general direction of the new haters as this sort of thing can happen to almost anyone.if someone with riches likes the look of a football club/rugby club etc they buy it as if its successful its good "KUDOS".the huge difference with our guys is they don't sit in a dusty boardrooom alienating themselves from us they mingle. That in itself is a very rare commodity especially in the premier league and long may it continue, never been so positive about our club as i am now so lets all enjoy it because lord knows we have earn't it
Agree mate, who cares about what others think. It wasn't long ago when other supporters wanted a massive points deduction over 'faurlingate' and some wanted us relegated 2 divisions? Vile horrible fans that were hoping we got a massive fine and went broke. We have top owners that are turning us into a top club and others are jealous.
I've never understood this second club non-sense. You follow a team, if you win you wish the losers well. If you lose you congratulate the team that beat you. But under no circumstances do you have a soft spot for any other side. That is a big no no in my book. Your team is your team, anything other than this and your not a true football fan.
People hate what they fear. And I'm not surprised rival fans want us to implode. If we succeed, it'll mean one less EPL spot up for grabs.
Doesn't make sense?! You must mean a true QPR fan. Which is also rubbish, because it's more than ok to enjoy and have a soft spot for other teams. A true "football" fan transcends clubs completely and has a love of the sport itself!! I generally find that people who take supporting a single club to such extreme lengths as you seem to have, more often than not, no love of football at all. They tend to love the tribal warfare of fanaticism, akin to the hooligans that blighted our game in the 80's and 90's. Football itself is the passion, the club is the vehicle to share and express that passion with others.........
Some people don't believe in liking other clubs, some do, some dislike others...who cares? As long as each and everyone of us who support QPR stay true to our club and each other as fans what matter does it make if we are hated? Let the talking be done on the pitch
Know the feeling We went from everyone and his dogs favourite second team to the spawn of Satan If utd, arsenal,Liverpool etc had been through where both clubs have been, how many would still be around to tell the tale of standing in the pissing rain watching them lose at York? No many so **** em and enjoy the ride
If that is the true meaning..and i doubt ot knowing some on this site..... Well then...I LOVE THAT !!! Probably means i'l have a meat lovers and some garlic bread...or something !
Saints Fans are going on about us being the next pompey despite the fact that they spent 7.5m on an average NPC player and are about to spend £13m on a winger and yet they still have kelvin davies as their #1 goalie. Some people just cant handle seeing their team signing better players than they could.
Jealousy...pure and simple.....looking in the paper and seeing little old QPR have signed another player....players that they probably feel little old QPR would never sign. They have no idea on what the finances of the club are or what we are paying, so they live in hope that we will crash and burn in a financial melting pot. They can say its not jealousy all they want......but all the tweets on twitter saying "I hate QPR" minutes after Cesar was annouced says otherwise.
The Spanish papers say we are signing Granero for less than saints paid for Rodriguez including wages. Other reports have said Cesar is on 40k a week. All this bollocks could be stopped if all fees and wages were public knowledge like in US sports. It would also have the side effect of keeping wages down.
That's what it means mate. Been attributed to the roman emporer Caligula. Always thought it a great phrase My other favourite is 'Omnia vincit amor'....'love conquers all'
