Saint Gaston!

I think it's more to do with another club which stitched Bologna up.

 

If Gaston can read English I hope he realises that this is the comedy hour on here.

 

I think when (optimism) he does get here somebody should make sending him this entire thread their epic quest.

It's Wednesday. Saints never announce their most headline signings on any day other than a Thursday evening [Le God knows why, but there it is].

 

just a thought but maybe they are saving it for the Thursday match press confrence? by "it" i mean any sigining that may have been done today..

Also I think Beady Eye sucking and High Flying Birds being pretty good proved Noel is more talented.

 

I don't remember promising that Gaston would sign today, just what the source told me.

I guaranteed that we have signed Yoshida though.

In fairness to Billy Vegas he came to a forum that is mean to be dedicated to discussion about Saints related news and in particular this thread dedicated to news about the potential signing of Gaston Ramirez.

To be honest, the swerving on to discussions about Oasis and the Gallagher brothers is what frustrates me too, more than off topic threads, because you have to wade through loads of one line bored chat about nothing to do with the topic at hand.

Now we get on fine Dan. Please let's keep it that way! What Billy is saying is perfectly reasonable.

Start an Oasis/Beady Eye thread and chat about it there, not here. If you do, I promise to tell you all about my night out with Liam.

 

How is this unfair - if people used the dedicated threads for this stuff this discussion would ever have taken place.

I do exepct certain people to follow, yes - as has historically happened - and I havent suggested they should not comment - as we are constantly reminded - this is a forum for people to express views.

You cant have it both ways either...

 

PS - I realise there's no actual news right now, but the problem is, if the page refreshes, somebody waiting for news thinks that there might be and it's pretty frustrating to find that it's actually just a random discussion about Oasis.....

 

hopefully. I'm going to see Noel Gallagher next tuesday. Going with a mate of mine, should be pretty good! If he signs, i'll bring Gaston along.

 

I'm just saying, everyone thinks the "other places for it" discussion only goes one way. It doesn't. There are certainly other, better places for football news.

Billy - You complained that you had to trawl through all the off-topic posts to find the latest news, but the latest news was only on the previous page. So by "trawl" you actually mean "click previous page once"?

But as I understand it, the majority would rather keep topical threads on topic and then have other OT threads (sticky or not) for OT discussion. That's perfectly reasonable and.....sensible.
