Just back home from London. Stayed with kids for a mini Holiday after the game at your place.

Just thought I'd say, despite it being a 0-0 draw, both sides played some fantastic football. It was as predicted, a physical, scrappy affair but I thoroughly enjoyed it. The final result could have been 3-3. Powell seems to have made you an organised outfit, solid and dangerous in attack. I have no complaints about the service or Hospitality in which the Valley had to offer either. A very enjoyable away day.

City played the best football I've ever seen them play in the last 15/20 mins. Good luck for the rest of the Season boys apart from the reverse fixture at the Circle obviously ;)

Yes I really enjoyed the game too and agree both sides played good passing football with good movement with Hull adapting better to the conditions in the 2nd half with more of the attacking options. Despite the weather the match was played in good spirits, totally unlike the last game I remember going to at Hull when there were sendings off all over the place and it all got very bad tempered. What a contrast Saturday was.

2-1 they pulled one back in about the 112th minute!

When big Chris put us 2-0 up in the 93rd minute i would of put money on us going straight back up! How wrong was i!

I remember that game. Some decisions were questionable unless I'm taking a biased view because we lost! ;)

Cheers ST. Glad you enjoyed it. Sorry we couldn't arrange better weather. I might try to get tot he away fixture. I've had a bit of a soft spot for Hull the last few years with the premiership adventures and Phil Permatan who was always entertaining. Your new(ish) stadium always looks good on the telly.
Ahh, the antics of Phil Brown... Arguably our best manager, but signed the crook that is Jimmy Bullard. I feel sorry for Browny in ways because it was more what happened off the field which in the end led to our demise IMO. Such as Marlon King; we all know what he did! And that made us get rid quick and all of a sudden our goals stopped and confidence dropped and down the League we went...
The KC is a good Stadium, the new more modern all seater. Will eventually be extended to 30k+ in times to come which will be good because at the moment, 25k is old news. Our crowds have deteriorated this Year through what went on with Barmby and Pearson, the new Season card operation at the turnstiles etc but a Stadium upgrade should bring them back.

Hope to see any of you there! The East Stand takes no prisoners! ;)
