Match Preview;
Our visitors on Saturday, Hull City, sit 6th in the Championship, having won 2, lost 2 and drawn 1 of their last 5. They lost at home to Watford last time out, after previously beating Rotherham 4-1 and drawing 2-2 away at Swansea. Their top scorer is Jaden Philogene with 6 goals, with Liam Delay and Aaron Connolly just behind him with 5 each. Their manager, Liam Rosenior, has now been in charge at Hull for a year and a month. Saturday will be his 50th game in charge, and so far he has won 16, drawn 20 and lost 13.
As for us, Martí Cifuentes, he has now lost 1, drawn 2 and won his last 2 as QPR manager. Before beating Preston, away on Friday night, we beat Stoke (20th) and lost to Norwich (13th) after draws against Rotherham (23rd) and Bristol City (14th). Given that Hull will be the highest placed opposition we have faced under Cifuentes, it should be an interesting test to see how much progress we are really making. Huddersfield conceding a last minute equaliser against Swansea on Saturday has kept us only four points from safety...but that is a gap that needs closing asap.
Enjoy if you are able to make it to HQ on Saturday, stay warm, and as always...
...COME ON YOU SUPER HOOPSA!!!
