Very disappointing. Whilst I think it is bad and I don't think Adkins or Cortese will be too pleased, the calls of some people for them to now sell him is perhaps excessive.

Not a good move if indeed it was him.

Oh it was him , it's what he does on the pitch to be honest that bothers me on the whole , I dont rate him but his work rate is always 100% and let's not forget we have had players with similar traits and they were cult heroes .

I hate hearing about this sort of thing although in fairness I doubt it would affect Guly's play on sunday if he does play. Despite that, going out drinking in the middle of the week is highly unprofessional and sets a bad example to the youngsters and so I think Guly should be punished in a way that makes it clear this sort of behaviour isn't part of the southampton way

Maybe he was drinking as he has been told he is leaving or has no future at the club ?

Jesus, he's a grown man and it was almost a full week until the next match, hardly disgraceful behaviour. If anyone got punished for having a drink almost a week before the game it'd be far too over disciplinarian.

I've got no problem with him drinking several days before the game but it is disappointing what he has been arrested for.

So what, it still sets a bad example to the youngsters

I wouldn't describe being in control of a potentially lethal object while under the influence as a minor offence.
Lynch him? - NO; it's not your place or mine to do that.

But I hope, if found guilty, he gets a massive fine and a lengthy ban.

There's no excuse for drink-driving and I have no sympathy for drink drivers

What's disappointing is that he drove under the influence of alcohol.

You lot are enough to drive anyone to drink. However it is a very foolish thing to do and cannot be condoned.

****ing hell. Drink driving, he shouldn't have done that but it's not a huge deal. But going out for a drink six days before a match and you want him punished?!

He needs to get a massive fine and serve a lengthy time in prison unfortunately.
