Cazorla,Giroud and Podolski would have all been here for just a year, so can't see us selling them. AOC and Wilshere are still young and one is still recovering from injury. I think we'll sell Walcott this week. I just have a feeling, if we were re-signing him, we would have done it by now.

Would love Llorente at arsenal the guy is TOP class.

Giroud is a good striker but the Spaniard is technically superior and would have been a much better option for us IMO.
Who knows maybe Wenger will sign another forward.

If he does, signing someone so similar would be a waste. And I don't know how technically superior he is, he might have a better volley in him but not much else to judge them apart. Giroud seems to have the better striker's instinct IMO from what I've seen.

Llorente has scored some beauties but he isn't the most efficient striker of all.


If we'd signed Llorente instead of Giroud and he'd went 2 games without converting chances people would be talking about another identical striker to add to the team... (possibly Giroud <laugh>).

Llorente is an efficient striker. I saw a stat which showed that it took him half the number of shots to score a goal, in relation to RvP.
 
Llorente and Martinez were left out of bilbaos squad tonight. Looks likely both are about to move.


Martinez would be a ****ing great signing.
 
Don't think we'll buy him but a midfield of Cabaye Arteta Cazora could work well without a dedicated DM

I'd prefer Tiote to Cabaye. Wenger apparently said we weren't in for Tiote, which typically in wenger-speak means we're trying to sign Tiote.
