I give up a great deal of time to moderate this site and to try to pass on information to other posters, it seems fairly obvious that this is no longer appreciated by many posters on this board. As a consequence, i'd rather be free to post my opinion, without any accusations of abusing my position as moderator. I'd appreciate someone starting a thread to vote in a new moderator, as soon as a replacement has been voted in, I'll stand down. Cheers, OLM

Aww that's a shame, but thanks for all the modding you've done for us, most probably don't notice it which tbh, is a sign of a decent mod. Be interesting to see what your real views are then if you've been holding back!

I mod on a couple of other (not City) forums and people really don't realize how much time it can take for absolutely no personal gain. I could never do it on a site like this so I fully understand your decision and cheers for doing it well for so long.
I should think on if I were you Lambo. The only reason I haven't banned you so far is favouritism because you're a mod.
He's not leaving, he is just giving up modding (policing if you will, nothing to do with his musical tastes) the forum for us. Frankly, why anyone would willingly give up their free time to deal with the abusive posts, idiot posters and general crap that needs dealing with on a daily basis on sites like this is beyond me, but without those Mods, the site would descend into chaos so whilst most people don't notice these silent cleaner uppers, they are essential and I salute all of them for that. Just to repeat, he is NOT leaving, he is stepping down from being a moderator.
It's a shame, OLM does a good job on here and he's a good sensible poster too which helps. I can see why he's doing it though.
If OLM does step down as a moderator I thank him for his efforts in helping make this a decent and informative site and knowing that any unnecessary comments are dealt with.
I would like to thank you for the time that you have spent as a mod. The role is not undervalued by the majority, but it is easy for the ****ers out there to wind you up with their comments. **** them all, do what you need to do to enjoy using the site. I could never do the job, but you and the other mods have to take pride in the numbers that this section.
OLM whenever you do anything which which is a contradiction to what others think someone will critisize--(i used to be coach for several sunday boys team yet was never appreciated) anyway you are appreciated but I can understand your reasons for stepping down--look forward to your unbiased posts andd thanks again
