    Isn't Steve Harper from Easington?

Rumour has it he has a Sunderland tattoo on his ankle.

Chris Waddle was a Sunderland fan & he never once played against us.

I couldn't care less who he supported when he was a kid, all that matters is that on October 21st he'll be wearing red and white stripes.

He's a bit of a queer North East creature is Johnson. Brilliant player though, top signing for you lot, fair play.

Waddle is a bellend! Not scared to show his Sunderland loyalties as he never commentates positively about NUFC.

All I'm doing is posting what he said.

All I'm saying is that it's interesting, and him being part of the derby will make it even better!

    More passion!

Just hope the thugs Bardsley and Cattermole are out. Both make foul challenges in the derby. Can't believe that Jonas and Coloccini have somehow survived 4 derbies without broken legs with the challenges they've been on the end of.

But players like Johnson, Mclean, Ben Arfa ect will make it more of a spectacle.

Johnson and Ben Arfa could be the difference between each side. Ben Arfa tortured you when he came on in the 1-1. Johnson will be a nightmare for our fullbacks.

    <ok>

He was in their academy from 10 to 12 so its understandable he has some connections. However they rejected him and he went to the then highly aclaimed Boro academy. He spent 10 years there and became a man whilst there. He will have far more fond memories of his time there tbh.

However, as said by so many on so many occassions, ALL his close family are die hard mackems and he was raised in a Sunderland supporting household.

The mags will obviously be desperate to try and deflect from this stellar signing for us and they sound quite pathetic tbh trying to do so. I will let AJ do his talking on the pitch.

I love the feeling I get on here, that some of you just want us to be jealous of you in some way, like you want to have something over us. You want it even more than you want a Sunderland win.

Fortunately there are some decent lads on here, to counter the **** that comes from Cestria, Mackemsrule ect.

Let's see what Benni does with Bardsley. Ouch!

He's a great full back Tash, totally comitted to the team.

I wish more were like him TBH.

**** me and you conveniently forgot to mention the officially tagged dirty cheating **** of the year Tiote and his equally sly cheating dirty henchman Cabaye in all that? I do hope that our big nasty fella Sess doesn't frighten lil ol TittyBoy this year.......... that's if hes still there.

    You're a blinkered ****er Tash

A good player, but on derby day he lets Cattermole become too much of an inspiration to him. Catts is your captain, so if he sets the example of being a twat and hacking players down, some of your players will follow.

Coloccini was lucky that his leg wasn't broken in the 0-1 game at your ground, it was a disgraceful challenge.

I know bad challenges have come from both sides, but Tiote doesn't go as low as studs in players legs, and scything players down. (Cue the comments about him falling down like a girl)

Bardsley should distance himself from Cattermole, he lets himself down when he does **** like that.

Sess elbowed him in the face, look to your own players before criticising ours you ****er. Tiote isn't a cheater. If he hadn't have gone down, Sess would have never been sent off like he deserved to be. If Tiote had have elbowed one of your players, most of them would have been down as well.

    Suck on it <ok>

It was hardly an elbow more of a slap. Not defending him though you can't raise your hands.

Tiote's reaction was silly, but he had the right to go down.

Having read all the articles posted, it wouldn't surprise me if he grew up as a NUFC fan, then in a pissy fit decided to stop supporting us when we kicked him out of the academy. Only natural after that, that he should start to support Sunderland or Boro instead, and that's probably what happened.

You can't really use the amount of fouls to determine who's dirty.

    Let me ask you this.

Player 1 makes 10 fouls during the game, all of them wrestling with the other players in 50-50's, or mistiming a challenge, just challenging for the ball.

Player 2 makes 3 fouls during the game, all of them studs raised and reckless.

    Who's the dirtier player?

That would depend on how many cards are shown.

Cattermole played less, hence less fouls. Scroll down; Cattermole commits fouls more frequently than Tiote. Only four players in Premier League HISTORY have more red cards than Cattermole, that is close to unbelievable considering how early in his career he is:
    1 Patrick Vieira 8
    2 Richard Dunne 8
    3 Duncan Ferguson 8
    4 Roy Keane 7
    5 Lee Cattermole 6
