Us east standers really need to get a song out of the west stand lot. If you sit in the west stand then get ready for it on saturday!!!!!
i sit in the South stand just right of the goal as your facing the pitch. have a good view just half way up. there are some miserable bastards just below us who always moan once weve lost the ball or misplaced a pass . i once called Fraizer Campbell a black 'b'std , everyone around just laughed . that was when he played for Sunderland. im not racist ,he got on my nerves ,him and his dad.
The Dutch lads are regularly in the North, it's depressing to hear about the ridiculous amount of grief they get from OB every time they come over.
As a nomad without a permanent home in the KC I have sat in all parts of the ground. Until the Premier League it was always in the East as it was always possible to get tickets. Except for one occasion - Swansea in the first promotion season. My train was late and all turnstiles closed when I got there. I ended up using my US passport to blag my way into the North stand visitors area which was virtually empty. After a few minutes I spotted some empty seats in the West Upper and a quite word with a steward got me tranferred over. In the Premier seasons it was usually the North stand unless I bought well in advance. Overall I like the South best. I usually stood on Bunkers (or sat when my dad got older) and prefer the view from behind the goal.
I tell you what is annoying. There is a guy near me who constantly shouts "come on city show em what football is" then a minute later "get it up the pitch hit it long" He says it constantly for 90 minutes, he has a mate who tells him to shut the **** up because he is embarrassing, but the lad just says he will when we've scored.. Which isn't that often at home. Luckily, he has disappeared for the last 2 games.
I sit in the South Stand and the reason it is quiet is because of the mongs that are called stewards. I used to make a lot of noise but over the years the threat of being removed and even an official complaint by plastic fans who I never saw again has made me quieten down thats whats killed the atmosphere. I got told on Saturday to stop swearing by a spotty youth in a green jacket, so I told him where to go!! no doubt reported once again!! one question for you, why of why do they not let people exit the tunnel in the SE corner with minutes to go, and then the crowd have to walk all the way up the stand again only for them to let the fans out once the whistle is blown. Its senseless and don't don't get me stated on the fat one in the orange jacket, who is power and pie crazy 'sh*t job no mates'
The guy who sits next to me who feels the NEED to comment on every little thing that happens in the game.... he's worse then burnsy on Radio Humberside!
I usually end up in the south stand (because my brother buys the tickets!) I think we're in Row AA, but on the right of the goal this weekend and next
I used to get an appalling running commentary from some idiot behind me, but fortunately he seems to have disappeared this season. We're no longer in the Premier League. He's no longer behind me. I wonder if the two are connected?
He's been there for the past 2 seasons.. he's ****ing annoying ... he refuses to stand up to applaud when the players come out the tunnel at kick off..... he doesnt sing, he picks out every tiny little thing they do wrong and moans about it whilst telling us what happens ( didnt realize i was blind ) then when City do something right he goes to his son ''Thats how you should be doing it son, see they've listened to me on how to play proper football'' not been funny or anything but it was nothing like he told city to do.. he's delusional and very annoying.... i cant wait to move away from him
I love being in the East Stand when we come back to Hull. We were near the corner flag this time, brilliant. Stood and sang all game (although my wife wasn't best pleased she couldn't sit down too often!)
