It's suddenly starting to look quite active, QPR, to get Dawson from Spurs (a surprise for him I think) and Carvahlo on a season long loan, (rate him lots)
Welbeck renewing his contract at Man U., as did Skrtl at Liverpool.

I'm surprised at the sale of Dawson after he was recently made captain at Spurs, but after QPR were one of last seasons most prolific spenders, they along with one or two other clubs seem to be panic buying.
Whilst I would hate to lose any of our squad, I know we have a system in place and are sticking with it, but I can't wait for this transfer window to close!<ok>

With Dawson, as you say, he WAS captain, but that was under a different manager and AVB strikes me as a man who has his own way and does not like to adapt (perhaps judging him unfairly, but it seems he's done that at Chelsea and now Spurs) plus wit the purchase of Vertogen Dawson is perhaps being pushed lower and lower down the pecking order...

Welbeck at Man Utd is too much of a surprise, no matter how you rate him, he HAS improved over that past year and he does have a future in Premiership football. Cavalho was a good player, but not seen too much Spanish football recently so cant comment - I thought Mertesaker was good before he came to English footie (Cavalho has been away a while, and gotten older with it) so I'll wait and see how that one plays out.

I'm just happy Adebayor wasn't signed up before we played Spurs on Saturday!

Looks like QPR are treating the transfer window like they are playing fantasy football. They are in for everyone and anyone.

Matt Jarvis - 10m

Its just lunacy. He's a good solid player who can provide good ammunition for a striker but 10 freaking million. Not a chance.

And yet for all the money they have spent since the beginning of the year and the players they have got in they don't seem able to put a team together that works effectively.

That is where one of our strengths lies I think, in building a team that works as a unit rather than good players bought for a lot of money that somehow don't make an effective team.

Surprised really as I've always thought Sparky was a good manager:confused:.

Back to LTF's point though - I agree, can't wait for the window to shut now as am getting a little concerned about some players, namely Tiote, and after previously posting I thought it was 'unlikely' he'd go .....

Is it just me, or are Spurs selling off all the strength in depth they had??? Huddlestone to Stoke? Dawson to QPR? Defoe possibly away?

They must have a sell to buy transfer policy, but with so few days left, they are playing a VERY risky game.

We should send all our players to wherever Marv is hiding so no one can get in touch before september.

Debuchy, Douglas, Johnson and Rhodes in, Ranger out. <diva>

Sell Ranger to Swindon, Paolo will sort him out, (or kill him) :bandit: <ok>
