Off topic for City but there's some interesting transfers going around the Championship today. Mark Bunn (Blackburn keeper) has handed in a transfer request. Maurice Edu could be off to Dipswich Ex Derby striker Steve Davies has signed for Bristol City Derby themselves have just signed Connor Sammon from Wycombe. AND Middlesborough have just signed McEachran (how to spell his name I don't have a clue) from Chelsea
McEachran is a good signing, and isn't Connor sammon from Wigan?? He looked awful for them last season. Phil buckingham on twitter just mentioned Bruce will be speaking with SAF next week about potential loan target(s) ...
WAITING on SAF to make up his mind who he is keeping and who can go. We could have 5 new players in by the end of August. A mixture of full transfers and loans. imo
Well Man U's bench tonight has Wooton on it, but no King, Tunnicliffe, Brady or Keane. I reckon all will be available for loan.
Which one of: 13 Lindegaard 02 Rafael 31 Wootton 08 Anderson 18 Young 09 Berbatov 20 Van Persie were you expecting to make way for them ? Although, I guess that is the point. Surplus to requirements.
No giggs, hernandez, smalling, evans, fletcher or Powell involved either. So I can't see any of them making an impression on the first team.
Mike White on twitter: RT “@D2D_official: Sunderland set to sign Jenas & Rose from Spurs, surely this means we can have Meyler & Elmohamady now”-very likely #hcafc
Reports from the North East have MON close to deals for Jermaine Jenas and Danny Rose from Spurs as the deals for Adam Johnson and Steven Fletcher look like they have been derailed.
Both loan deals according to the Mackem press... http://www.peterleestar.co.uk/sport...-meyler-and-elmohamady-to-hull-city-1-4852567
I would suggest its a case of how many do we want more than how many we can have. Non of the Man Utd kids are anywhere good enough yet. Man Utd need proven players to have a sniff of winning anything this season. Apart from RVP - Rooney and Vidic IMO Man Utd are nowhere good enough in the top quality dept. Chelsea and Man City have far superior squads overall,, imo.
Utd will finish above Chelski. As far as Elmo & Meyler go, loan deals would be good 4 City, especially as Meyler is injury prone i believe?
I'm thinking that by signing Meyler and Elmo could be bad, cos either Stewart or Aluko will drop out and then Evans too. But time will tell.
Aluko will not be dropped, presumably Elmo would take Stewart's place and Meyler would come in for McKenna?
For some reason he is going backwards. Great player on his day but i wonder when his day will come again, sadly.
