However, I'm sick and tired of no mark journos telling us that they KNOW that we have no money and what exactly is going on. Note he extracts lines from comments made by Rodgers that have no direct link to the argument that he is forwarding. If Adam has been told that he can leave then you know, sure as hell, that neither he nor Liverpool would be talking about it to Barrett!

Some fans here need a reality check ! Man City will not be selling their players to rivals, it doesn't need to. This is what worries me, teams like Sunderland, Swansea, Everton are the more likely destinations of big team players, strengthening our direct competition while we flounder around spending top 4 fees on lower rung layers such as Carroll & Downing, we have been left behind by teams such as Newcastle & spurs ! Anyway id rather have Suarez out wide instead of A.Johnson, if that means using Carroll as Cf.then so be it, personally id like to see a swap deal for demba ba, cash plus player which would allow us to get a new CB to challenge skrtel (who I have always thought was a liability for th most) Carra bless his heart is gone, and a massive drain for a 3 rd choice CB.
I don't think BR is interested in A Johnson and this is why we won't get him! All we need to do is play our in form number ****ing 9 Get Suarez one side and Gerrard the other. Lucas Allen and Shelvey in the middle.
I have to agree that we've got a No 9 - so play him!!! If he's ****e then he's ****e and we need a replacement pronto. If not, then we get the goals and Rodgers gets the accolades
Not always true as we have seen recently with Van Persie. The only way you could possibly do it though is in a deal that suits them. For example the only way i could have let Agger go and for it to be justified is if by selling to City it gave us the ability to bring in a couple of City players. However lets not decieve ourselves we are in NO way a threat or serious rival to City at present!
