His contract at Bolton was cancelled because he had a relegation release clause, I can't see him triggering that just to go to another Championship club.
Peterborough fans rated Mclean, don't pay too much attention to what other fans think!

Quite a lot of City fans rate McLean, and generally, aren't the fans the ones that know everything?
Sadly I can't see him leaving a Championship club to go to another one, unless he thought they had a nailed on chance of promotion (which doesn't exist ofc!).
That said, haven't all the PL clubs released their squads details for the season? Would any have "space" for someone like R-C? So yeah, why not come play with us and Brucie?
