Just bought Darksiders 2 + limited edition for £29.47 at ASDA. Not bad considering it's like £38-42 on the GAME.
I gave up gaming when i realised it was just sucking my life away, apart from thursday night when I go around my mates and destroy him at tiger woods golf. Waiting for him to buy f1 2012 so I can make him cry even more tears of abject failure.
Same situation, I only play a game when it interests me rather than just buying it. Haven't bought a game for about 4-5 months excluding this one now. Apart from Skyrim DLC I dont really give a damn about anything this year.
I used to work at GAME but I very rarely buy anything there as you can get it so much cheeper elsewhere... even in small indie game shops.
I don't know if I can do a full top 10, but Timesplitters: Future Perfect is probably number one for me (hence the DP), Timesplitters 2 is also up there. As you can probably tell from those, I've not been gaming on a console for a while, I've only had a PSP whilst I've been at uni. Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops is by far the standout title on it, and the Resistance series are pretty good too. Also a fan of FIFA (who cares about versions, they're practically identical), and also had fun with Medieval: Total War, when I found that in a draw a few weeks back. For a game that must be 10 years old, it's surprisingly good.
Football manager? It's pretty sad that its usually my go to game and has been since the late 90's Also playing the other oldish school card.... Total Annihilation, which with a few mods and a pimping computer is even more insane than it was in 97!
Borderlands 2, seriously amazing and has a ton of hours of gameplay, really fun gameplay, excellent story. You can't go wrong with Borderlands. Also, just got Halo 4 yesterday (way more important than the election) and it is quite good so far. Interesting story so far, and the game itself is gorgeous. I'd recommend that as well if you're into FPS' Also also, if you're looking to **** your pants, play Amnesia: The Dark Descent. Play at night, by yourself with headphones on for the maximum effect.

Top 10 Games, damn thats hard to pick but I'll try (I wish I could pick a series or trilogy of games sometimes): The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess Donkey Kong Country 2 (Also 1 and 3 are fantastic) Metroid Prime 2 (1 and 3 are also amazing though) Mass Effect (Either 1 or 2 can't decide, 3 only loses out because of the ending) Shadow of the Colossus Dark Cloud Oblivion -No specific order here, although if I had to pick I'd say that Ocarina of Time is my absolute all time favorite. Also as you can see I'm a big fan of the Zelda games and I can say I've played through all of them multiple times. But even outside of these 10 I have so many other games that I really like that are amazing, they just don't quite make the cut over these guys
1st: Skyrim 2nd: Shenmue (Where's the new series FFS!) 3rd: Skies of Arcadia 4th: WOW 5th: Batman Arkham City 6th: FF8 7th: Mass Effect 1 only (2+3 were ruined) 8th: Ocarina of time 9th: Phantasy Star online 1+2 10th: Banjo Kazooie I could pick another 10 but cba

Halo 3 (so many multiplayer matches... great to play with friends) Football Manager (Social life killer) Fallout 3 Super Smash Bros (melee or brawl) Bioshock Brutal Legend Resident Evil 4 Assassins Creed: Brotherhood F1 2011 Mario Kart (Honerable mentions: GTA 4, Gran Turismo, CoD 4, Fallout New Vegas, Oblivion, Skyrim, Borderlands 2, Super Mario Bros 3, Halo Reach, Gears of War 3) what can i say there are a lot of good games
hmm, tough one, dunno if I could rank them as most are totally different games so the numbers next to them are fairly meaningless 1. Baldurs gate II on PC 2. PES pre 2008/FIFA post 2008 on PS2 3. Kick-off II on commodore Amiga 4. F1 2010 ps3 5. Neverwinter Nights + expansions on PC (2 was **** IMO) 6. Footbal manager on PC (the only time West Ham have been champions of Europe, 5 times in a row) 7. risk on PS one (just because I make my mate cry tears of frustration) 8. Tiger woods golf on Xbox 360 9. GTA san Andreas on PS2 10.Mario Kart SNES there were other games that held my attention, such as the original GP by Crammond, but not really a fan of FPS I was gonna put that up there, but it's the Internets version of crack and I wish I'd never started playing it, lol. given it up now, so many hours of my life wasted in AB attacking or defending the Blacksmiths. A or H?
Yeah it was pretty bad for me getting off, was a version of cold turkey for 2-3 months and I just wanted to hit somebody. Glad I stopped before the wrath of the lich king as doing Black temple over and over and over and over for days on end was becoming VERY depressive! Class case of a skinner box. But I'm glad I was able to get off it, SWTOR was thrown to the back of the pile in a month, Guild wars 2 even quicker than that.
I'm gonna do a list but not in any particular order: Red Dead Redemption World of Warcraft Football Manager Rome: Total War GTA: San Andreas Shenmue Mass Effect 1+2 Skyrim Forza 1 Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic While I'm at it I'll do my 10 most disappointing games of all time: L.A Noire - Man, I thought this was going to be amazing, but ultimately it left me massively underwhelmed. Add on to that the WTF ending. GTA 4 - This was the first GTA on the current gen consoles and I was expecting a whole lot more. In fact the only thing I found good was getting blitzed in the bar and talking ****. No planes? Bitch, please. Championship Manager - Not the originals, the originals were awesome. I'm talking about the abortion that was made when the company split. FM was the winner there. F1 2010 - Was really looking forward to this and then Codemasters release it with game play that really pissed me off. Duke Nukem Forever - I waited 15 years... for this! Star Wars - The Old Republic - Was hyped for this and got bored of it after about a week. Brink - I was really hyped for this. Bought it on a Friday, completed all achievements by Sunday and traded it in on Monday. Piece of crap. COD: Black Ops - This game is what made me finally realise how **** the COD series is. Spore - The idea of this game was great but in the end I found it boring. Mass Effect 3 - The victim of over hype unfortunately.
Little off topic, but what does everyone think of the new F1 Race Stars game? Having always loved Mario Kart, it seems quite endearing, but I don't have Xbox360, PS3 and I'm not buying it on the PC.
