Well I love Mario Kart and F1 so if it's basically the 2 merged in to 1 I will probably enjoy it.

EDIT: Downloading the demo now.

 

All the crash-kids of F1 games will hopefully find their niche there.

 

Good bit of silly fun for ten minutes. I quite liked it. Hard to justify a purchase though while Halo 4 and F1 2012 are still yet to join my collection though. Proabably one for the January sales. Everyone loves Mario Kart in short bursts. Bit disapointed there are so few tracks though.

 

No one for Half-life? Or Bioshock?

 

Almost mentioned Bioshock earlier. Loved both games, however I think the 1st game was the better of the two. Really looking forward to Infinite, going to play that a ton when it comes out

 

F1 stars is quite fun, and only £17 on PS network, very similar to Mario Kart, not similar to F1 2012 though, not similar at all.

 

Might have a re-play of half-life soon, I miss it.

Very rarely i'll play cod4, the rest are crap! But I barely play anything anymore, college is literally the biggest bitch ever!

 

Agreed, original Modern Warfare (CoD4) is the best..
Recently started to play Black Ops 2 and its so-so...

It's too bad I'm such a Nintendo head; there hasn't been an F1 game for Nintendo since 2009

It's a confusing article though, it reckons there'll be five classic cars from the eighties and nineties, the mentions the first batch including the '88 Lotus 100T, FW07, W-J F12, and "some Ferrari's", then six classic Williams' and Ferrari's from the nineties, the FW14B, FW18, F399. That's not 6, and makes no suggestion of which the other 90's cars would be.

Also, retro Jerez, Brand's Hatch, Estoril and Imola in the game will be awesome. Also, 90's style yellow graphics are going to be a massive nostalgia trip, and Murray Walker narrating introductions to each car.

Another thing, apparently you can't mix decades (so it has to be 80's vs 80's etc), but can take a 2013 car onto classic circuits. However, surely that means online races in classic mode will consist of an awful lot of the same cars.

There's also going to be 80's drivers: Mansell, Andretti, Berger, + 7 others.
and 90's drivers: Coulthard, Irvine, Prost and Villeneuve + more.

I'm going to guess a lot of the other drivers will be team-mates though, otherwise there's likely to be a lot of drivers without their own cars. I'm guessing Hill will be included as they've got his car, and if they've got Irvine, one must assume a certain Schumacher might be included, especially as Codemaster's will already have a driver model from 2012.

 

I wonder if the classic cars are intended to be released as DLC

Has anyone played The Last of Us yet? (It's a ps3 exclusive)
It's literally one of the best games that i've ever played in my life, 14 hours it took me to complete the story mode and about 99% of that was pretty much a perfect game with the best story i've ever seen in a game. If you don't have a ps3 I really recommend watching a playthrough on YT.
