Yep, you don't get many quality Prem players for less than that, especially as good right wingers appear to be quite hard to find.
Wolves fan I know through some writing I do seems to be pretty clued up and knows a couple of people at Wolves.
He says Saints enquired earlier this summer and were told the price was £10m. Saints offered £4m. But Wolves asked for £10m, or like £8m with add-ons.
£6m I could say "okay then". £8m-£10m I'm not so sure. Seems over-priced.
Lens is a better player isn't he?He might cost more,but it's better to pay more for a better player than less for a player of lesser quality...
Hard to say. Lens has been called frustratingly inconsistent in the Dutch league and is more of a striker anyway.
Yeah, I think that he does well what we need a wide man opposite Lallana to do well...he creates chances, can play on both sides, and he's not adverse to tracking back. Lens might be the bigger talent, but I'm not sure that he'd be the better fit, though I'd be delighted with either.
It is so wrong to expose me by accident to the Daily Star. I digressed from Jarvis to various strange articles before I forced myself to stop. It's a wierd world.
