I'd also be very chuffed with Jarvis, hard worker, will create, probably won't want to to play in the Championship again. Basically ticks all the boxes for the type of player that we want. But.....has he seen the DVD?
Having read over what people have said my thoughts on what have been discussed are....
Matt Jarvis - Like alot of people would love to see him playing for Saints. Proven in the PL, can put a decent ball in the box (Lambert/Rodriguez best get on heading practice). People saying is 6million too much?!? Wolves like any team don't want to lose one of their better players for a cut price. But really 6million isn't alot for when you consider he is only 26yrs and the likes of Sunderland are willing to pay 10-12million for Steven Fletcher (OK SCRAP THAT LAST PART) fook me I never realised Fletcher was only 25yrs I thought he was in his late 20's early 30's.
Well 6 million isn't alot for Jarvis in my opinion and would be a great adition to the squad. Could see Fox & Jarvis linking up very well.
Danny Rose - Don't know much about him apart from the wonder goal against Arsenal and the Team GB apperances. Could add a bit of pace to the squad on loan could be a good move.
We do need a CB. I think Fonte will struggle in the PL & we need players to challenge them for that position. Would like to see us bring in an experienced proven PL CB. Someone like a Kolo Toure figure.

If it were a choice between him and Lens, I'm less sure, but I think I'd still take Jarvis. Jarvis is a clever player with a great delivery who will fashion chances for Lambert and Rodriguez. Lens sounds like a quick and direct player who will think more about scoring goals than creating them. With Rodriguez doing that too on the other side, we could suffer from overload.

Echo has interview with Nige saying definitely signings before end of transfer window. They don't quote source though, so could be a rehash from interview given elsewhere.
Being reported that West Ham have had a bid for Matt Jarvis rejected.
The bid was £6m up front with £3m in add-ons.
