Leicester fan in peace, Howââ¬â¢s Hobbs getting on for you lot? I notice he's played the last 5 games, so how has he been? Is he in good form? Would you want to sign him permanently? He was quality for us for 2 seasons, but had a shocking start to this year (missed Pearsonââ¬â¢s management I think). Would love to see him back at the Walkers next season but fear heââ¬â¢ll go the same way as a certain Matty Fryatt, and we al know how that ended up! Good luck for the rest of the season, hope you make the play offs, would much prefer you guys to go up than Forest or Leeds!
Has looked a bit iffy at times but was superb yesterday. I think he's starting to gel with the rest of the team so IMO will only get better the more he plays. I'd love him to sign on a perm. He's a really nice lad as well, which helps.
Yesterday was definitely his best game for us, I wasn't too convinced based on his first few performances, but he seems to settling in nicely now. NFUNo2 - What happened to my pint of Guinness?
The thing is mate I clocked you just as you was getting served and thought it would be a bit necky to shout over and ask you to get me one. I went for a gypsies and when I came back you'd gone. Did you get a job load of those sweatshirts by the way ?
would rather us sign gerrard in the summer and pair him up with chester. gerrard is much better than hobbs for me and i doubt we can sign both of them. so its gerrard for me.
Next season in the prem: Mannone Rosenior Gerrard Hobbs Dawson Evans Chester ???? Stewart Simpson Fryatt We can all dream......
I would be suprised if we didnt sign them both. On another note whilst bored last night i spent some time reading all the other clubs posts on the old beeb 606 forum and the Derby fans seem to think they will sign Ayala so should we try to sign him 2? I hope so or am i just been greedy
That team with the addition of say Neil Danns looks a very good Championship team. I think if we did go up though we'd need a new left back, centre mid and striker at the very least. I know he has come in for a bit of stick of late but Robbie Koren is still integral to our plans and rightly so. I can't work out how a midfielder with 7 league goals and 8 assists can get slated, yet he has recently. Especially when you consider how few goals we have scored.Without his contribution at the start of the season we'd have been bottom by some way at Christmas. I also thought he played very well on Saturday, granted he could and should have bagged a couple but the boy is class. UTT.
Gotcha. Although I do think big Les on my Avatar has a certain undead , zombie like quality about him. A bit dawn of the dead if you like.
