    They want 10 million euros which is about 8 million pounds. Some hard bargaining is probably being done, which will be why deals are taking their time to materialise.

    That's a good point, I forgot about the different currency. Also it could be lower if he hands in a transfer request, apparently they bought someone in his position who is better so they shouldn't be too keen to keep hold of him.
