Club have just confirmed they Knockaert is about to sign in the next 24 hours, 3 year deal

Leicester City can confirm that terms have been agreed with Guingamp for the transfer of French midfielder Anthony Knockaert.

Anthony, 20, is set to sign a three-year deal at King Power Stadium. Subject to his registration being approved by the Football League, his move should be completed in the next 24 hours.

Had a word with Shaky before the Burton game - and he said what a good lad he is. Seemed excited we have him. Apparently his name is pronounced Nockart - aint gonna be easy fitting that in a song.
 
Its a bit weird isnt it for the club to put on the website that we are close to signing a player. Normally they put put anything until 1 week after we have signed the player
 
Lets hope NP is doing a MO´N with his signings.... a who´s he to an LCFC legend.
Can´t wait for the season to start now & (hopefully) start kicking a***.

Well we hav had a few French players over the years and none of them have set the world on fire

Lilian Nalis just scored screamers but was crap, Dany N'Guessan was brilliant on his days but that didnt happen often enough, Nicolas Priet never got a game and the less said about Yann the better

It's because Guingamp posted it on their website that he's close to signing for us.


Given the refusal of Anthony Knockaert to extend his contract with the club which has yet revealed, En Avant Guingamp has enabled the market to transfer the player to good financial conditions. An agreement was reached with the English club Leicester (D2) with which Anthony Knockaert is committed to four years.

Weird how they've put 4 years whereas our site says 3 years.




Personally i'm going to reserve judgement until i've found how much we've paid and if he's any good. But the fact that Newcastle, Marseille and Benfica were all interested tells you something.

He is a skilful player but I would rather Lloyd Dyer who will just beat his man and manage to score a few and create a bit
