In the full expectation of silence - there don't seem to be any active Aberdeen fans on this forum at the moment - is anyone else watching the Scottish Cup semi-final game?

I imagine this will be a private grief.

Not so bad.

You haven't done too much by the way of reorganising. You have coped rather well since the sending off.

The commentator says this is the third time that Aberdeen have had to play with 10 men against Celtic this season. Are we really that dirty? (I suppose we could be.)

28 minutes gone....still no scoring.

Yes, I'm a bit surprised by that - both the lack of obvious reorganisation and the fact that Aberdeen are doing okay. There may be trouble ahead.

Good chance there for maguire. He just drifted into space.
We'll have to do better there.
The game might be killed as a spectacle now.

not that i'd care if we bear you

I think the Penalty was cleary a penalty and Consodine sadly had to depart.

Decent so far if not outstanding.

I'd go along with that. Definitely a penalty, no arguments there, but it's a bloody nightmare having to imagine Aberdeen trying to cling on with ten men. It's not like the teams are equal to begin with, either - we need all the help we can get.

It will be very hard for Aberdeen now but not impossible.

That's the worry, of course, that the game is trashed as a spectacle. I can see Aberdeen defending in numbers and hoping for the best - inspiring stuff.

No, I wouldn't expect you to care too much if the result goes Celtic's way. Likewise, I'll be praising a plucky defensive performance if Aberdeen cling on and scrape through on penalties. Brown the master tactician, I'll find myself saying.

Ledley is the boss of this game at the minute.
He's like our metronome.

Of course that is a bit easier when the dons have to sit in.

I don't know much about Ledley, but he seems pretty good. I'm always surprised by the dinky wee touches and deftness of Scott Brown, however - not necessarily in this game. To look at him, you kind of expect the worst.

Dev - no, not impossible, but highly, highly unlikely. I need half-time. Quickly.
