norwich is a much more vibrant place than people give it credit but is obviously much smaller than leeds in terms of population. i personally prefer living in a smaller city and would rather visit a large city (new york is the best) but others would rather the other way round. what isn't up for dispute is who currently has the premier league team... <whistle>

Agreed on NYC, love the place. <ok>

Would have the opportunity to go abroad to work after I've finished my 5 more years of Uni (!) and am seriously considering moving there, as much work as it is to get over.

Live in a small city currently and as much as I like it I wish there was more going on.

DO IT!

i lived in boston for a short while (like a mini, more pretty new york) and it was great. don't stay for too long though - people i know who lived there said it drains you after a while! you'll want to move to the yorkshire dales after that just to calm down <laugh>

I like Boston as well. Considering Chicago too although I haven't been (yet).

Can't believe some of the fantastic places there are across the pond, yet so many people seem intend on going to Florida over and over, because, you know, it's hot and stuff. <doh>

totally agree about florida. don't like the place. not a fan of LA either. not been to chicago. i like san francisco but my favourite place (after new york and las vegas) is yellowstone national park - if you've not been there make sure you go - its amazing <ok>
 
In fairness I like both places but it is like comparing apples to oranges, it depends on what you are looking for. A scenic getaway peaceful and relaxing atmosphere of Norfolk, great for a weeks break or the clubbing, shopping and fast pace style of Leeds. My brother-in-law used to live in Dewsbury, when we left there once we went through Bradford, agree it is a complete **** hole.
 
How has the bitching about Snodgrass leaving descended into Leeds is a better city than Norwich.
And for reference, if whatever centre that is being built will have 'literally everything' in it, it would have to be a fooking big building!
 
I meant once the Arena is built, Leeds literally has everything. Apologies for not punctuating on here (I never do mainly becuase I use my phone)

I'm sure those recollections will remind you of the Neil Warnock boot it up field philosophy, enjoy going back to the Wilkinson brand from those dark days of English football.

Someone said class is permanent, Leeds have never been class, big, occasionally successful, but class is not a word anyone associates with Leeds Utd, particularly the fans.
 
And if I can add to the Snodgrass debate.
Leeds haven't been a force in English football for the best part of two decades, so irrespective of what you won and who you played in the past is exactly that, in the past. Snodgrass like most players is only thinking about the immediate future - he wants to play Premier League football - which to his mind wasn't going to happen at Leeds.

You can belittle Norwich as a football club - and for some bizarre reason as a city - as much as you like, the fact remains we can offer him what you can't. Plying his trade in the highest division in the country.

Harking back to your glory days won't help, and wishing relegation on us won't either. Do us a favour and change the record, at this point in time you're a championship team - that isn't an alluring proposition for players you're looking to buy or for those you want to keep if they have the ability to play in a higher division.

Where did I say I have to read them. It's an open forum so my voice is allowed just as much as anyone's else's, Leeds or otherwise. But I'm glad that the only thing you picked up on as it shows what I said has some truth to it.

It is an open forum, and we can say whatever we like about your club and your city, we don't need to "change the record" because you don't have to read it, so if you don't like it I think the solution is quite simple. <ok>
