He'd be good I think.

How narrow minded are you? So if you looked at the 2. Bundesliga table, where would you finish? Because I highly doubt you have a better squad than Koln, Kaiserslautern, Hertha Berlin, Bochum, Cottbus or St Pauli. In fact, I know you don't. To be honest, neither do we. It's a strong league; granted, Koln and Kaiserslautern weren't in it last year, but it shows Proschwitz has the answer to our goal scoring problem and should do fine.
The Vardy argument is a non starter. I made a similar point about Hearn at Grimsby last year, the goal stays the same size at every level throughout the football pyramid, so if somebody is banging in 30 goals for a side, people are going to sit up and take notice. A lad that scored 40 odd goals for Altrincham (who play in the Blue Square North and finished 12th) has just signed for Gillingham. It happens a lot because people recognise talent when they see it. It seems like only yesterday that Grant Holt was a Forest reject, but he's gone on to become a PL goal scorer. How many Norwich fans groaned when they saw they'd signed some nobody from Shrewsbury? I bet they feel like a bunch of nitwits.
He is all gas and no product though. Then again, that can be useful in this league.
Could say the same of Dyer, wingers need to be able to cross, it shouldn't begin and end with pace.He is all gas and no product though. Then again, that can be useful in this league.
Is this the five minute argument or the full half hour? your guy is great ...he is bound to score forty goals this season..no danger...no go and relax...your season is assured..
Beg pardon
Not really, McLean does that and it didn't help us attacking wise all season did it?
McLean was a crap version of Darius Vassell
While they work hard and play for the team
But they just arent good enough
Yeah but what people are forgetting is that if these pace men had an end product then they would be in the premiership.
But what is the point of having a fast attacking player if they can't pass or shot when they have the ball? I'd rather have a player with no pace than can finish, like Nugent. Ideally, you want someone with decent pace and finishing ability, like Marshall and, potentially, Beckford.

The point is that the pace can get them into great positions. Pace men in the championship will always be frustrating as if they had end product they would be in the premiership.

You look at some of the best players at this level over the years
Rickie Lambert, Andy Carroll, Mark Noble, Kevin Nolan, Peter Whittingham, Grant Holt, Wes Hoolahan, Jay Rodriguez, Danny Graham to name a few
They wasnt exactly fast
