nobody can say much bar we did "enquire" about dempsey... who the hell knows after that what occured.
Dare i say it maybe rodgers agreed with the "man in the street" test and thought the fee was too much just like memebrs of no606 did or perhaps he just hasn't gone back yet or perhaps we were rebuffed.. perhaps dempsey wasn't interested. we don't knwo so there's no point worrying about it right now.
as for gaston and even cavani... well who knows... LFC still have 5 weeks to buy someone.

The fee Fulham are asking must still be too much, good signs if we won't be messed about.

well all i can say is hoilett aint all that and really he didn't exactly make the difference for blackburn... surely if you are a bigger club you want the guy whos the stand out performer from a small club.
now ok here's an example... charlie adam.. I have said many times i don't rate him for lfc but he was standout for blackpool which led to us buying him. antoher example might be adam johnson from boro or downing also bought out of boro...
Hoilett is not really in my mind someone to jump all over so if he does better at qpr then good for him.

I am a little surprised, but hopefully that's a sign that we have other targets? But yes, it's good for QPR, they have a good player there.
True. Would have taken him on a free to replace Maxi/Kuyt/maybe Bellamy in the squad but there you go.
Perhaps we're not looking for out and out wingers as such.

If we play 433 then i have to wonder how we will line up.

I think the clear thing is that we really need a winger/wide forward that can come straight into the side.
Hence the clamour for Ramirez, Johnson, Dempsey etc.

i guess that depends on whether rodgers rates downing cos he's said nothing nor been asked about downing at all.

our midfield is kind of scary..... gerrard, lucas, adam (gerrard = crock?, lucas = returning, adam = don't rate him) then henderson, spearing, shelvey. All three reserves are guys you want to gentle in not depend on even if two of them look hot. I can see why he's looking at allen even if i don't know if he improves it.
maybe our next signing will be in midfield.... maybe we'll sell carroll and replace with ramirez as a policy. big man out pacy guy in.

I'd take Ramirez ahead of Carroll if I'm honest. Technique, pace and guile for me.
