Hello again, RL.
Are you Scottish? If so, why are you in Australia? Love? Work? Both? Explain yourself, okay, otherwise Iâm not at all sure this is going to work out.

sevco voted "yes", kilmarnock abstained - leaving an abstain on their character forevermore - everyone else voted GTF
And amen to that.
I was going to say something moving and uplifting like âwhat a momentous day, a seismic eventâ etcâ¦..but how diminished are we become if a simple application of the rules might be hailed as being momentous? Deary me. (Kilmarnockâs abstention was a disgrace and Iâll seriously kick **** out of any Killie fan I see on the internet today, yeah.)
ââ¦.leaving an abstain on their character forevermore.â
Thatâs
fine.
But look, Iâm as fond of a bit of word play as the next guy, RL, and yet canât help feeling an apology might be in order for your work here.
Purists may also quibble at your inclusion of the word âanâ in that sentence, wondering if the more straightforward and confident-sounding âleaving abstain on their characterâ might better meet punning requirements. Certainly, all the purists Iâve raised this issue with assure me theyâd like to see these changes effected, but I have no particular view either way. Frankly, I feel an apology would be more than sufficient and that itâs time we put this tiresome mess behind us and moved on. I honestly start to wonder if people - mainly purists - have nothing better to do with their time than look for needling points of conflict inside the internet dotcom bubble highway.
Michael Johnstone, goodbye dickhead!
cant wait to hear his analysis on this one. Would have rather he had the balls and said " weve listened to the fans, but decided rangers bring more money than the fans so for financial reasons voting yes to newco" no instead he just sits there and doesnt vote like a muppit. Hasnt even given a reason yet as to why he abstained. This may have just cost him a fortune is season ticket sales that fans would have bought to support the club for having the balls to stand for the right thing, but no we get this.
Hello!
Do you reckon he'll be hounded out of the club? I know what you mean, a declaration either way would be more palatable than simply failing to vote. It makes him look
incredibly weak and compromised. I wonder what was going through his head? I've been wondering this for quite a while, however.
Maybe he'll come out with a forceful statement explaining his actions and we'll all go "okay, fair enough" - who knows? To date, however, he's given every impression of being a man who is incapable of seeing the bigger picture as he's too busy gasping with fear at the balance sheet. I'm left wondering what kind of society he wants to live in?
Ah well......
