Not really that important but since we have the 3rd most users on this site, does anyone think it is time we got ourselves a background. The Leicester forum has just got one and that annoyed me because they've only had like 2,000 posts while we've had 24,000. I don't know who to write this to (OLM, DMD or MalteseMick???) so if anyone has heard something about it please tell.

We had a thread about this a whille ago. I thought we were going with the tiger eyes pic that was put on there but then nothing happened?

We were asked by Mick if we wanted an image put up, but as there was no definitive decision I think it just got forgotten.

I don't mind the grass/white line, I haven't seen the Leicester page but it's hard to find something that looks good, as little of the image is visible(Arsenal's looks ****).

If everyone wants one and we can agree on the image then I can sort it with Mick.

If you look at the Leicester page, they have loads of different players and that'd look cool on ours. Maybe with Bullard's team talk celebration at Man City, Deano lifting the play-off trophy, a general on of ashbee clapping or something, Wagstaff and Chilton etc.

I know but what else could you have OLM? Anyway i'm sure someone like BoothferryLegend (If he still comes on here) could make something like that work well.

I think with so little of the image being visible, this will only work if we used something like the tiger eyes image(as sagegee suggested), so the eyes are visible in the gap at the top. Anyone got a copy of that image handy?

Thanks for the name-check, OLM, but it was Ricardo who mentioned it first! But, it is the one that I think would work in the area available, and have an "impact value".

Actually, 'twas me, but I'm not here to get credit.

Would be nice though, now and again.

Sorry Twf'y, I was only referring to this thread, not the original proposer, i.e., yourself. There was no malice intended to you, only that I could not remember who the originator was.
I apologise to you for not giving you your due credit, and hope you will forgive my lapse?
