I think in time it will be good for Scottish football. I may be wrong but time will tell

Rangers got themselves into this mess. They should stop blaming others for punishing them. They are at fault and must take what comes with that

What can they do? Ban us for a year, doubt it because of the financial implications for the game.

Throw us out the Scottish cup? One of the few ways we can actually meet you this year so I doubt that too. They have probably already weaseled some sort of tv deal behind the scenes on that one.

Fine us more money? Seems a bit daft if we don't have it.

A loaded question and things have moved on considerably since then.

But if it's a punishment within the rulebook and not one made up on the hoof then I would accept that, yes.

But this obsession with punishing Rangers must stop !

. But you've not yet been punished. The one punishment you've been given you've not accepted.

Your club deliberately avoided tax and fees owed to other clubs as probably those in power knew what was coming. You should pay for that. Yes it no?

    You brought it on yourself

The anger, threats and blame that poured out from rangers fans was bad enough if not unexpected.....but to come from Rangers employees too....add to that the constant whine of "you need us more...." which is incredibly arrogant you have the gall to ask why spl/sfl fans hate you....

....**** me you even have a song about it....

    Dignity indeed

Unfortunately they seem to hate our club more than they care about their own.

Rangers have accepted responsibility publicly on more than one occasion. My point is that any further actions against them are hurting the innocent and therefore counter-productive, not to mention vindictive. I think the mess they are already in is sufficient warning to other clubs of the consequences of financial mismanagement. All the SFA are doing is stoking the flames and causing more division. They really have handled the whole thing shockingly and have left themselves open to ridicule and mismanagement. Some fans of other clubs have acted as badly, hiding behind " sporting integrity " when they wre participating in the feeding frenzy and I find them to be disgusting, two-faced liars.

But what could the fans have done ?

We were left on the outside looking on helplessly as this catastrophe unfolded.

The SFA unlike us had the power to do something about it but failed to do so.

The ban would be worse on rangers than anyone else!! If you have a year out you'll never ever be back.

Would you prefer that to an embargo?

Scottish football’s recovery process begins today. The Board of the Scottish FA endorses the decisions made by the respective members of the Scottish Premier League and Scottish Football League to accommodate Rangers FC Newco into the Irn Bru Division Three.
“The Scottish FA Board are also wholly committed to Stewart Regan driving this process forward. Since being appointed Chief Executive, he has led us through an unprecedented modernisation of the Scottish FA.
“He has our full support to continue the excellent work undertaken so far in accomplishing the key objectives of our strategic plan, Scotland United: A 2020 Vision. This will remain the Board’s priority as we move forward.
“The new season begins in less than two weeks and it is incumbent on the Scottish FA to conclude all outstanding issues relating to Rangers FC. To that end, we aim to meet with the club this week with the intention of achieving a satisfactory outcome for all parties so that we can focus on football in time for the new campaign.”

Silly old me. I thought we had a 10 point deduction and I'm certain we accepted it.

    Are you sure you're a Lawyer ?

Had you kicked up a stink at the time whilst he was checked out or forced to prove his credentials you might have stopped it becoming as bad as it has ended. But you preferred to blindly believe the bluster and promise of £25 m over 5 seasons, even whiilt your former directors warned you he might be telling porkies

    It's the rules

    3 points for a win

    -10 for administration

That's not a punishment. That's what happens when you do something. Just like you get 3 points for a win, you lose 3 points for administration. And you had to accept that- as you helped set the rules.

We're right to blame the SFA when they make up punishments that are not in the rule book.

You know, I,m finding it harder by the moment to believe that all these fans of other clubs are seeking justice, not that I expect many to confess their true motives. Can anyone tell me why it's okay to heap more misery on the innocent employees who remain at Rangers ? Why don't they all have a collection to pay for a lawyer to go after Whyte and Murray ? That would show they were trying to protect the integrity of the game.

    Are you completely ******ed ?

I was pointing out the 10 points to anport who claimed we hadn't accepted any punishment.

then surely you can see why there is an expectation for you to accept the potential consequences related to dual contracts, football debts, etc ?
