According to some people on saintsweb, he was either there, or Cortese was somewhere with him discussing the finer details of his contract.

Yeah I remember quite a few of the reliable chaps on Twitter and SaintsWeb saying Cortese wasn't present and they'd have expected him to be if he had no good reason to be elsewhere.

Maybe something is going on. I'll ask Harty to check it out.

Also while I'm here I might as well say I'm very much enjoying the Daily Mail/Sharp thread. I don't really want to get involved but it's damn funny
