I know we will be linked with all the Udinese and probably most of the Granada players and anyone in the UK with a vaguely Italian name (Dani Graemi, yes please, and Marvino Sordelli, no thanks) but it is fun to see who the next player linked with Watford will be. Spot on vic - I'm still not convinced yet! Whilst many appear worried over whether or not we will retain our family club image, I fear that we may lose our 'English club' image in similar fashion to Chelsea, Arsenal etc. Is that a racist view & should I have voiced it?
It a fair point BB but then its the price of being taken over by men from overseas to an extent who already run 2 clubs with more talented players than we have. Chelsea and Arsenal do it their way because its cheaper to buy non-British than home grown players as Liverpool have found out! I just hope they are able to gel as the Championship will be quite different to what they might be used to.

I'd say Macheda is unlikely. He's in the Man Utd squad to go to South Africa this week, so if he was coming to us on loan, doubt they'd take him. I would have thought we'd want him to link up with the squad as soon as possible.

Adrian Mariappa Danny Gabiddon one youthful the other experienced, is this worth the change? All is quiet again on the Mariappa to Reading front but as is likely he goes is Dale Bennett ready to step up full time or do we need another older head alongside Tiny?
