just rumours Spurf..loads of them..im in the kno fuk all..but i do enjoy reading the insight of my fellow Spurs fans and im not being a bitch..we can discuss tactics or even cooking tips if you want... but i like to play fantasy footbal in my head with potential new players so can we resume the speculation?
Sahin said over the weekend that he was happy at Madrid and wanted to stay. Re Modric, I've thought for some time now, if he leaves, where to? Madrid is still a possibility. Levy is obviously extremely reluctant to sell to a Prem rival. Most just would not pay Levy's asking price - reputedly £50mil. Only the Chavs would be that naive. So again, he may well want to go, but it looks to me like his options are pretty limited.
I also read something from one of the Madrid players (might even have been Sahin) that said Modric wasn't good enough to play for RM. Whether or not we think that's true is for another thread...
Yet they think that overrated show pony who routinely fails to show up against the top opposition is? Priorities...
That was Guti. He also said Silva would be a better choice so I'm not sure he's seen either of them play much because they don't even play in the same position.
Ironically, Guti's not good enough to play for Real Madrid, which is why they sold him to Besiktas. Who released him.
Crunch time for Tom, only a year left on his current deal, depends now on how 'new manager' see's him, if thats the case? http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2167891/Fulham-want-Tom-Huddlestone-Tottenham.html Its the Fails story, so Fulham/Jol is probably just that, a story, but the facts are accurate regarding his contract situation...or are they? In this link he signed a deal in March till 2015...I wish they'd make their mind up! http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2056496/Tom-Huddlestone-Liverpool-radar.html Another Fail fail!
They must sit in a circle in the Fails office and play word association games. Right! Jol, Spurs, Huddlestone. Good! write it up. Next! Chelsea, AVB, Spurs, Modric. Off you go, 400 words!
http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/t/tottenham_hotspur/8568600.stm And people diss Wikipedia - it's more accurate about THudds' contract status than the Mail's reporters...
Weird to think that at the time of that news report we had loads of injury problems. Thank god that doesn't happen any more
I'd heard this lads name mentioned, media assumption obviously on the strength of the new manager, hope the tests are good news. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/18699589
I know this is not Spurs related but I just had to... The Sun: AC Milan want Liverpool striker Andy Carroll as Pier Silvio Berlusconi, the son of Milan the Rossoneri owner Silvio, has been acting as a transfer consultant for the club and likes what he sees in the England man What a large donkey with a pony tail!
