Exactly this. As far as I can see nothing has changed. I actually think that there is no more important issue to the future of the club than getting a new, larger stadium. But my money would be on Brentford having their new stadium before us.

Where do you sit flyer? I thought all the seats were tight and cramped unless you're in the 'C Club.'
Lower loft which is perhaps the place with the most legroom. The upper loft was literally painful for me when I sat there as some blokes blubber was spilling over into me and I sat there with a bent back for 45 mins.
LL is uncomfortable, UL is horrendous.
Agree Totally. In London, the opportunity for growth is huge. London itself is a City within a City.
My argument was the same regarding Chelsea and a 60k seater. If the seats are there they will fill themselves.

If H and F allow the planners to change its usage from industrial to residential then there's no way we'll get a look in. If they insist on some level of mixed/leisure the we might be in with a shout
It seems a bit odd that parcel of land in that position being classed as residential with the Westway almost on top, it's actually a perfect spot for a stadium/leisure facility and if Loftus Road was traded off for residential redevelopment that would be a perfect solution...
do we really need a bigger ground yet??? id say until we are established in the prem n selling out week in week out with a healthy queue for season tickets whats the point??...apart from against top six clubs we struggle to sell out home areas for other fixtures if we're honest!
mate, we may not need it yet, but wheen we do, in say 2-4 years, it'l be too late. it'll take us at least years to buy land, planning etc...Now is the time to set the ball rolling, esp as costs will sky rocket on land after the olympics.....

im with you on that but its 'qpr' we are talking about...i just fear us ending up like pompey n leeds n brassic....remember the pompey fans clamour for shiny new ground......now they're entertaining crawley n stevenage!!!
You're right to flag that, facta. But Pompey had fly by night owners that wanted quick glory. So the question is, are our owners similarly shallow? My strong sense is, they aren't. Much as I love it for sentimental reasons, any good and ambitious owner would want to trade up from Loftus Road. The owners will have to make a strong business case for a new ground. I'm sure they will.
agreed golds old chap.....such a shame our current site means redevelopement almost impossible...this is gonna be the biggest decision in the clubs history!
