They seem a bit odd to me, I'd expect Mick McCarthy and Alex McLeish to be higher up the list and Coyle less likely to be sacked than Fergie?

Bruce looks very good value at 12/1 for me. He is being found out badly at the moment. They've spent a lot of money - obviously they recouped a fair bit for bent - but even so, they should be comfortably top half

If he was with any other chairman I would say your right.

But Quinn isn't going to sack him, he has done well for Sunderland and if he was sacked then they would be in a right mess.

They aren't going to get relegated.

Quinn doesn't own the club, so the decision to sack Bruce wouldn't be his to make.

If you put it into context though, it makes sense:

Woy has only recently taken over at WBA so it's highly unlikely that he will be sacked until October next year at the earliest.

Pulis - Considering we went up at the same time as them.. If we'd comfortably avoided relegation last season and were currently lying 12th in the Premier League this season, do you think there would be any chance of sacking Brown?

Coyle took over from Megson, who was sacked after a 2-2 draw at the Reebok against the Tigers. They were in a relegation dogfight with the likes of ourselves, Burnley and West Ham. 15 months on, they lie 8th in the Premier League, and a place in the Europa League is not out of the question. Again, compare it to Brown. What would be the odds of us sacking him if we were currently 8th in the top tier?

Whereas Wenger has not won a trophy since the FA Cup in 2005. He may have the loyalty and the sentimental value, and Arsenal's 'special' football but it isn't getting results right now. Even though his sacking is unlikely, I find it more likely than the ones mentioned above.

Thanks Most managers are now safe in their jobs, those who have had poor seasons such as Ipswich and Coventry have changed their managers already and will be building for next season. The only ones i see been at any real risk are the ones i mentioned in my previous post, but knowing how crazy things are now with regards to managers i wouldn't rule anything out.

Wenger's odds haven't changed yet, but after the weekends results, Bruce has dropped to as low as 5/1 with some bookies and Kean's has fallen even further and the odds are so short that they obviously think he's on borrowed time.

Phil Brown isn't going to go either, he's just getting PNE on a good run and, whilst it's probably too late to avoid relegation, is beginning to build for next season.

One question though - WHY the **** is Pearson deemed more likely to be sacked than Dougie Freedman?
