Well it went well last time you came to Elland Road on a Tuesday night towards the start of the season.

Unfortunately we have to play each other on a Tuesday all the time now thanks to OB. Of course, if we ever played each other on a weekend there would be complete carnage and many people would be injured.

This is true. I heard they'd have to recall all troops from Iraq, Afghanistan and Germany and deploy them at Leeds-Hull games just to keep the baying, boozed-up mobs apart, such is the two-sided hatred and violent potential of the supporters.

Thank God the Police moved them to a weeknight. Trouble successfully avoided.

    Hopefully.

I'll get the occasional free ticket to the Stadium of Light next season - I'm sure I'll blend in perfectly when I turn up in my City shirt ;)

Yeah we hate Leeds, you all think it's a respect for how massive you are but reallly we just don't like you.

It's a big shame that people from East Yorkshire like yourself are still drawn to go and support Leeds just because they were good once. We can't all be proper football fans though I guess.

And I'm sure you will enjoy seeing Sunderland play, what that has to do with Hull City playing Middlesbrough at the Riverside stadium however, I have no idea ;)

Good stuff. Actually it was the bit when you mentioned that the wife wanted to move house. Thats simply too much with everything else you have. Is your job anything to do with Juggling by chance ? <whistle>

Sheffield Wednesday is a far bigger attraction than TWS as far as i am concerned. ;)

Depending on which match you go to at the S.O.L. they may offer you a choice of row nevermind seat ? :emoticon-0116-evilg

You've left yourself exposed to the 'Hullensians = fishermen' mob there.

Leeds is one of the big games, but wouldn't say it's the biggest of the season, though saying what is the biggest game of your club's season is a pretty subjective thing. Leeds is another one of the big games alongside the Wendies (looking forward to the return to Hillsborough), Huddersfield, Leicester and any other teams close to us in the league during the season. I remember our first season in the Championship back in 2005 and Leeds was the biggest draw for fans back then. Leeds were recently relegated from the premier league and only a few years earlier were riding high at the top of the league. City on the other hand were emerging from years in the doldrums and the fact we were playing Leeds in the same league excited fans. But I don't think that feeling is there anymore, it's still a big game but not the same as it was 6 years ago. I bet if you ask Wigan fans if playing Man United, Arsenal and Liverpool has the same draw as it did when they first got promoted they'd probably say no, and I think it's a similar thing here.

I understand your comparison but United, Arsenal, Chelsea etc. are still massive clubs. With Leeds they were a big club when relegated from the PL and are now no more fancied than the rest of us in this league. The fact that it's a local game and a lot of our fans don't like them will still stand for a long time, but the games you look forward to aren't all about them being big clubs. I remember Scunthorpe being our big derby not long ago.
