    Scott Dann > Zak Whitbread > Curtis Davies

    Scott Dann was immense for Birmingham and his injury coincided with their relegation. A bad season at Blackburn (a terrible defence to find yourself in) and people seem to think he's suddenly a bad player.

    Also wasn't Hooiveld really bad for Celtic? Didn't turn out too bad did he? (Even though he's foreign and we know that foreign players are the reason we got relegated, eh RLGB?)

    Scott Dann seems to be pretty underrated by a lot of people.His stats on FM are pretty good.

    FM ;), MLG is the Saints researcher for fm and he is the most deluded supporter I've come across, so whats to say that the other researchers aren't similar?

    Well it is pretty accurate to be honest.Many players on there who are good on the game are good in real life.

    You do know that David Moyes plays FM aswell,don't you?How do you think he gets all these great players for cheap?

    He nearly got it right, Evertin have a deal with FM that they can use their scouts. FM have about 5000 i think.

    Oh yeah I knew that, just meant that to suggest that the main reason Everton do well in the transfer market is because of fm is the trolling part.

    We've spoken about a lot of domestic players who would be realistic signings, and I think some of them would be decent signings as well, but does anyone think that we could do better by looking abroad? Especially for a centre-back, as I'm struggling to get excited about any of the names which have been mentioned.

    Yeah,I wasn't 100% on David Moyes but I saw something about Everton being involved in FM.

    Definitely. I think perhaps a centre-back from abroad may suit our style and come in at a cheaper cost. Who was that fella we were linked to?

    The thing is you have to be very smart about it. It's hard to predict whether a player is going to adjust to the English game. But if we could find the next Pahars and the next Lundekvam, wouldn't that be something?

    Really? Was told it was this guy.

    Would be surprised if it was Igor Lolo as he is 30 very soon and only signed for Kuban Krasnodar in the Summer of 2011.
