    Well it does have something to do with it. Palace had macca on loan last season, they're now a defender light so they may come back in for him. There wouldn't be a fee though, not in a million years.

    Bruce has said himself he wouldn't mind going for Heskey and Heskey has said he wouldn't mind playing for Bruce obviously meaning that some communication has been going on. Whether we're making it a serious offer is another story. We are definitely interested in Heskey though.

    The skysports story is just a rehash of the article HDM did on Wednesday. City Independent also nick a quote from this article whilst also suggesting Leicester are also after him, but C.I doesn't say they have sources who have told them the case instead they say 'speculation suggesting' from the national press. The HDM article said Heskey is on his holidays and will make a decision when he gets back, i'm sure some initial approaches will have been made to his agent from whichever teams are interested, but I can't see him going anywhere for a week or two at the earliest.
