The Dutch wouldnt be in this situation id it wasnt for the inept manager and his baffling team selections.

cracker by VDV and Ronnie looks like he is on fire....im sure i saw someone running around on the pitch pretending he is playing...Dutch no 16 i think.
 
YV, your just in good form as VDV and ronaldo have started scoring while i transfer in gomez and he falls on the floor ha ha you gotta love fantasy football!

But as for portugal, they could easily be one of the teams that grow if they get through the group stages and ronaldo does look fired up!

Surely they have to get rid as he has a contract until 2014 and that will be the last chance for this golden era of world class attacking players.

ha ha well he would fit in nicely with his love for two holding players, the guy would knock one out once he saw we had parker and sandro!

Yeah, I always say it every tournament, it's not the team that starts fast that will win it and whilst I don't think Portugal are solid enough at the back to win it, there's a lot of experience and quality in their squad so you can't rule them out(like I did :D ).

It's about bloody time I got a few points in that bloody FF league! I predicted the scorelines of England's first two games on the Euros board yet my player predictions have been pants! <grr>
 
Russia and Holland going home, who'd have thought? you'd think a team with Sneijder, RVP, Robben, Huntelaar, and VDV, might just be able to produce more than 2 goals and 0 points in a comp.

Just shows what damage a manager using totally unsuitable tactics with an unbalanced side can do... <whistle>

Willems was thrown in at the deep end, playing two holding players was ridiculous and the manager also fell pray to the standard Dutch ego fallout.
Leaving van der Vaart and Huntelaar out of the first XI for the opening two games meant that was always a possibility, whether it worked or not.

if you want to learn dutch then listen to Mclaren..i mean how did he manage to become dutch all of a sudden after one year there!

i studied in Liverpool for 4 years but have not stolen a hubcap to this day!
